Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the digital products operated by Ivan Maria Spadacenta, including SocketNews and related services.

1. Services

Spadacenta operates independent digital products focused on real-time data, information processing and APIs. Some services may be free, while others may require a paid subscription.

SocketNews is currently the primary paid service. It provides structured, real-time information streams through subscribed channels.

2. Accounts

Certain services may require users to create an account. Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials secure and for providing accurate information.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid services, including SocketNews, are billed on a recurring monthly basis unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

• Prices are displayed before purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
• No free trial is provided unless explicitly stated.
• Refunds are not provided unless required by law.

Channel prices are locked at the time of subscription. Future price changes apply only to new channel subscriptions, unless otherwise stated.

4. Cancellation

Users may cancel subscribed channels through the relevant service dashboard. Canceled channels generally remain active until the end of the current billing period.

If a user deletes their account, access to the service may end immediately and active subscriptions may be terminated as part of the account deletion process.

5. Acceptable Use

Users agree not to:

• Use the services for unlawful purposes.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer or compromise the services.
• Resell the same service using data or outputs provided by Spadacenta services.
• Misrepresent ownership or origin of the services or their outputs.

6. Data and Accuracy

Some services process public information using automated systems and AI pipelines. Outputs may include summaries, facts, entities, categories and metadata.

While reasonable efforts are made to provide useful and timely information, outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate or delayed. Services are provided without warranties regarding accuracy, availability or fitness for a specific purpose.

7. Service Availability

Services may be modified, suspended or discontinued at any time. For paid services, reasonable efforts are made to maintain continuity, but uninterrupted access is not guaranteed.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ivan Maria Spadacenta shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from the use of the services.

9. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
